0:57 => Just another view of the Empire State Building
One of my favorite things about New York City is how wherever you go, there's always something iconic in view.
I've seen the Empire State Building from so many angles, sometimes poking out in places unexpected; and spotting it never fails to make me happy.
1:45 => Firefighters playing catch
This was the first time I've ever seen firefighters tossing a baseball in front of the fire house, but I hope this is something they do often! I have many a fond memory of playing catch with my dad, and seeing this reminded me of him.
I also appreciated that someone from the city decided this overpass was worth painting a vibrant color -- purple!
2:07 => Playtime & One World Trade
Travelers come from far and wide to look upon the tallest building in the United States, One World Trade Center.
For the local kids, it probably fades into the background, forgotten in favor of playtime.
4:56 => Biker club on First Avenue
Someone get these kids some helmets!
5:23 => Blossoms by the river
Signs of spring swaying in the wind, a rare stillness in the ever moving city.
We stopped to enjoy the blossoms and their beauty whilst going from here to there; a lovely reminder that nothing lasts forever, and to enjoy the journey.
